annual GOAL CHECK-UP
an APRIL FOOL, no more...
As we begin a new quarter, I am forced to take a hard look at the progress I have made toward my 2013 Goals.
**Spoiler alert -->> epic fail ahead**
Aww FUDGE !! I have allowed some unforeseen events to completely through me off my game. The only thing I have been consistantly maintaining is my commitment to the gym and my flexibility stretches; besides that I have been SLACKING.
*quickly looks up the definition of a 'slacker', results below*
slack·er
/ˈslakər/

I am better than that... AND I INTEND TO PROVE IT to myself.
Well, I have recognized the mistake and now it is time to take some action.
Step one, is moving my goal list to the entry way of my place. I need to see that list everyday to keep those goals on mind.
Step deuce, I am taking 3 items on the list and drawing out an action plan. I need to build some momentum -- and turn the tide in my favor.
Step tres, umm.. well i dont have a step 3 yet... but the point is I am rolling out a plan to pull my -ish together. Dammitt!
Giddyup!

in HEAVY ROTATION... FreefallTV
Came across this series while scouring youtube for content. You may already know, that I am a big supporter of 'ondemand entertainment', versus cable television. Therefore, I love to discover new web series.
I was initially attracted to the sleek look of the show (the cinematography and direction); but as the story line progressed, I got more into the plot.
Plus, the show takes place in the ATL!! I gotta show love to the homegrown talent in the Peach State.

the SKINNY..
A couple of weeks ago, i had the pleasure of seeing 'the Skinny." The movie is by the creator of Noah's Arc and Punks, Patrik Ian Polk.
Overall I enjoyed the movie's pace, taking the viewer thru a gay pride weekend in NYC. I must say that Patrik's storytelling has GREATLY improved. The story lines between these characters didnt feel as forced as in some of his other works. Oh yes, and the eye candy on the big screen definitely didnt hurt.
Its got my stamp of approval.. so I am recommending to my pals.

THINK like a MANboy, ACT like a LADYboy
So i made it out to the movies and caught "Think Like A Man". No major epiphanies, but the movie was definitely enjoyable. Lil Kevin Hart certainly kept the laughs going throughout the flick. One critique, that I had was the lack of male eye candy. Call me shallow, but I think we were SHORT a handsome heartthrob or two.
Other than that, i am recommending the movie to my friends, and on my way to the ebookstore to read more of what Steve Harvey has to say ;)
