happppppy new years.... (again)

So the new year is officially upon us. 

It hasnt been 3 weeks yet, and some of us have already broken our New Year's Resolutions. #bahumbug

No matter... as far as I am concerned... the first few of weeks of the year, are simply a "warm up." I expect to stubble a bit while making changes to my daily habits. Its all about progression.. and sometimes, that involves a slow, organic change.


I am working to make sure that this year, is a year of BREAKTHROUGH. I have a list of goals that I have posted near my mirror (a la 'Being Mary Jane' style) and I make sure to review them periodically. I have also added some 'check-in' dates to my phone's calendar. I have also already started reading a new inspirational book .. David and Goliath by Malcolm Gladwell.

KNOWING WHERE U COME FROM... 

So while reviewing my last year's performance... I must say, I was not thrilled with the lack of  accomplishment. Last year was filled with several large hurdles that interrupted my progress. I spent a lot of my time MAINTAINING instead of MOVING FORWARD. 

This year I am going on the OFFENSE instead of simply defending my position.
